ONCE YOU HAVE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT:

Click this link to go to the Electronic Medical Record (eRecord) sign-in page. This online system allows you to quickly and securely complete the required intake documents prior to your appointment. Sign in under Patient using the User ID and Password provided to you at the time your appointment was scheduled. You’ll find your own page with a list of documents to complete. It shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes. You can also use this portal to confirm your appointment time.

INSURANCE

Whether or not they have insurance, many clients choose to pay-out-of-pocket. Using insurance may be a liability; there is no guarantee as to the confidentiality of your records once insurance is involved. Furthermore, when using insurance, I must provide a mental health diagnosis and this diagnosis becomes part of your record. This may jeopardize your future ability to obtain life, health, or disability insurance.

Currently, I do participate with a limited number of  insurance companies. If you do choose to use your insurance, please call your insurance company and find out if you need an authorization for treatment, if you have any deductibles and the amount of your copay. If you do not obtain an authorization and one is required, you will be responsible for the entire balance.

If I am not in network with your insurance but you have out-of-network benefits,  I am happy to provide you with a super bill for you to file with your insurance company. In this case, full payment will be due at the time of the session and the insurance company with reimburse you directly.  You will need to call your insurance company to verify if you have out-of-network benefits to verify the amount of reimbursement.

DISTANCE COUNSELING

For some people, attending sessions in person may be difficult. This might be due to busy work or travel schedules, transportation difficulties or simply anxiety about face-to-face contact. Whatever the reason, distance counseling services are available to help make counseling more accessible. These sessions can occur via email exchange, chat, video, or over the phone.
